Pokémon Unite Set to Unveil New Generation 8 Pokémon on June 12
May 19, 2025

After months of anticipation, this highly versatile Fairy type is finally going to step back into the spotlight on June 12. The extended wait for the re-emergence of Alcremie is finally upon the audience.
The very brief new trailer keeps in with showcasing this darling Cream Pokemon standing atop the two-tiered square cake adorned with strawberries, twirling about in celebration of its in-game debut on June 12. Along with fellow supporting fairy-types like Comfey, Wigglytuff, and Mr. Mime, this one is to act as a supporter. The tasks newly introduced for Alcremie might not be to the liking of those who favor a more direct approach. These, however, might come in handy with healing, debuffs, and crowd control while those who want to support their team.
For many, its customization is the selling point. The process was first introduced in Pokemon Sword and Shield: currently, Alcremie evolves from Milcery into one of 70 different looks! These are split among 10 cream colors and 7 sweets, the held items that fuse with the Pokemon when evolving, becoming a permanent component on its high-haired head. Sword and Shield players strategize to get their favorite version of Alcremie by evolving it at a certain time of day and spinning their character in a certain way. Interestingly, it appears that the character design of Alcremie in Pokémon Unite was inspired specifically by its Strawberry Sweet Vanilla Cream form.
